CEPH is distributed storage across the whole cluster (not a single disk on one host). Data is more resilient to hardware failure and enables zero-downtime VPS migration. At this VPS price tier, competitors typically do not offer this storage class.

For the datacenter and the VPS service we publish 99.99% SLA (internet, network, power, cooling / VPS operation). Target response time is 20 minutes. The facility is classified TIER II for disaster scenarios.

Each VPS runs in a cluster of 4 physical dual-CPU servers with CEPH. During maintenance we can automatically live-migrate it to another cluster node with zero downtime - customers typically notice nothing.
